Open VS Code

Add a button to open the add-on folder in VS Code. This add-on is intended for developers and is not for general learners.
Q. What is VS Code?
Simply put VS Code is free software for reading and writing program code. (e.g. before running a new add-on check the code, read the code for development reference, use it to develop own add-ons, checking the cause of broken add-ons.)
How to use
You need to specify the path to VS Code. (if a path has not yet been set or cannot be found the options will auto open.)
VS Code is launched using subprocess, like this: subprocess.Popen([vs_code_path, addon_folder_path])
Options
You can open the Options window from the Config of the add-ons dialog. (it’s not in Tools)
- VS Code path
- Set the VS Code path.
- Button name
- Change the button name.
- Button Position
- Change the button position. e.g. set to 0 to move it to the top.
- Icon type
- You can change the icon to Insiders or None.

📥 How do I install this add-on?
- This add-on works with Anki for desktop (it does not work on mobile). Download Anki from the official website if you haven’t already.
- Copy and paste the add-on code (
1190001219) into Anki and you can install it. ( Menu -> Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Add-ons -> Code [ add-on code ] ) - When I develop bug fixes, create new features, or compatibility for New Anki, I will notify you and you can install it.
